Andrew Wild

Middle School Science Teacher

Andrew Wild is a middle school science teacher in Winooski, Vermont. He is a Knowles Teaching Initiative senior fellow and holds a master’s and PhD in science education from Stanford University. Prior to his doctoral work, Andrew taught high school science in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the project-based Envision Schools. He co-authored the book Arguing From Evidence in Middle School Science  and was the founding science faculty member at the High Meadows Graduate School of Education, which prepared pre-service teachers to design and facilitate project-based learning.
